My name is Katerina and I live in North London with my husband and two children, aged 2.5 and 1.
My Mortgage Mate originated as a Excel spreadsheet that we used when looking at potential house purchases.
We really wanted a quick and easy way to see how much it would cost us to buy that bigger house and in particular how much money we'd have left over at the end of each month with a bigger mortgage!
I wrote My Mortgage Mate whilst looking after my children full time...it took a lot longer than expected, but I think it was worth it.
